Your Questions, Answered

  • We need to raise around $800,000 for the pool to be up and operational and ready for the first season. Construction for the pool alone is estimated at $506,000 and in order for the construction to even begin we must have 75% of that in hand. That does not include the costs to get the snack stand, bathrooms and other areas of the pool up and running, or the costs to hire staff.

  • We have a total of $285,000.

  • Now that we have the lease for the pool as well as the small games of chance permit in hand we will be able to hit the ground running with fundraising and grant applications. We also have a lot of private donor and sponsorship interest as well.

  • Absolutely not. The lease for the pool is in our name, not the Borough of Boyertown. Therefore, all of the funding is completely private and not at all coming from the tax payers. This is why our fundraising efforts, grants, and private donors are essential.

  • In order to keep the pool going it has been projected that we will need to bring in $169,260 yearly. These funds will come from membership fees, fundraising events, swim meets and classes, grants, and donations.

  • We have become a licensed and incorporated non-profit. We have obtained the lease and keys to the pool. We have cleaned the pool out and gotten the necessary estimates as well as insurances to begin construction. We have our small games of change permit which allows us to do larger scale fundraising. We have been in contact with numerous small businesses who are willing to donate labor materials to begin renovations on the pool grounds. We are very close to reaching the necessary funds to begin construction and are currently on track for opening this season.

  • We’ve done most of the paperwork and preparation. We are still continuing the efforts of getting large donations, both private and corporate, as well as planning future fundraising events. We are moving into the construction phase which includes fixing the leaks, installing a handicap ramp, redoing the bathhouse as well as the pump house, and renovating the snack bar.

  • We are estimated to open at the end of May 2026 and at this point in time see no reason why that goal is not attainable.

  • We will offer a seasonal membership as well as daily passes.
